Privacy Policy

RaiGo is a local classifieds app for Maharashtra where people post and find ads for things to buy, sell or rent. This policy explains what information the RaiGo app and website (together, "RaiGo", "we", "us") collect, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.
RaiGo is operated by Faisal Kazi, House No. 541, Kharkand Mohalla, At Post Mahad, Raigad, Maharashtra 402301, India.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, call logs or SMS. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers in the app, and we do not sell your personal information.
2. Who can see your information
- Everyone: your published ads (title, description, price, photos, area) and your seller name.
- Your phone number: only if you choose to show it on an ad. When an ad is marked sold or closed, contact details are hidden from people who are not signed in.
- Chat messages: only you and the person you are talking to. Our moderators may review messages only when a conversation is reported or to investigate abuse.
- Service providers: we use an SMS provider to deliver OTPs and a hosting provider to run our servers. They process data only to provide these services to us.
- Authorities: we disclose information when Indian law requires it, for example under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
3. How long we keep it
- Ads run for 60 days unless you renew, close or delete them earlier.
- Verification documents: deleted within 14 days after review.
- Security and audit logs: kept for at least 1 year (about 400 days), as required for intermediaries under Indian law.
- Account data: until you delete your account (see below).
4. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete account. Full steps are on our Delete account page. When you delete your account:
- Your name, phone number, email and verification details are erased, and all your ads are taken down.
- Your saved ads, notifications, notification settings, push tokens and sign-in sessions are removed.
- Your phone number is freed, so you can register again later as a new account.
Some records are kept after deletion: chat messages already sent to other people (they are part of the other person's conversation), reports made about content, ads that are under a legal hold, and the security audit log. These are kept only as long as the law requires, and are no longer linked to your name or number.
5. Security
All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens are stored in your phone's secure storage. Access to our systems is limited to people who need it.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to nominate someone to act for you. Most of this you can do directly in the app (edit your profile, edit or delete ads, delete your account). For anything else, email us at support@raigox.com.
7. Children
RaiGo is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will tell you in the app.
